Do you have a conveyor belt for beginners?
Yes, we have a conveyor at the learning hill for the Mountain Learning Center. We also have the small, two-person lift on the Bunny Hill for beginners.
What’s up with Cyclone?
Cyclone Circle will be open for the 2025/26 season! The new Cyclone Cord, a “Swiss Cord” style surface lift, was installed last season. Cyclone access will be available Thursday – Sunday as snow levels allow. The old Cyclone chairlift (Lift VI) was deemed unrepairable a few years ago, and the lift cable has been removed.

Can I bring my dog?
Sunrise is pet friendly as long as your dog stays on leash in the base area. We only ask that you please pick up after your dog.
Is there a restaurant at Sunrise?
Yes! There are four lodges, two cafés, and the Sunrise Pub for dining around the resort. Lodges include the Sunrise Day Lodge, Cyclone Day Lodge, and Apache Peak Lodge, and Midway Café (Sunrise Midway). Cafés include Eagle’s Nest (Sunrise Peak) and the Crown Dancer Café and Grill (old rental building at Sunrise Base). Dining menus and hours are available below:
Can I bring a grill or propane stove to cook my own food?
No. Grills and propane stoves are not permitted.
What are your hours?
Sunrise is now open daily for the 2025/26 ski season. Our hours on all operating days are 8am to 3pm. Night skiing is runs from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and is offered Dec. 26-31, Jan. 18-19, and Feb. 14-15. You can arrive early to pick up your passes and rentals.
