Competitive Shooters: Pick up your packet at Sunrise Ski School, located in Sunrise Day Lodge, Friday July 2nd by 4:00pm

As the largest outdoor 3D archery shoot in the west, visitors will be able to register for “shoot for fun” courses or compete for prizes, including a raffle for a trophy bull elk tag. The event will take place July 2 – 4, 2021.

In addition to the 3D archery shoot, families will be able to enjoy other summer activities at Sunrise Park Resort, including scenic lift rides, ziplining, horseback riding and more. *Note: mountain biking and hiking will not be available during the shootout weekend

Extreme Fire Danger: Sunrise Park Resort would also like to remind visitors that there is an extreme risk for wildfires. Kindly follow the guidelines set by Navajo County to prevent wildfires while visiting, including refraining from smoking outside. Update 6/28: Camping will be available at the Sunrise Campground – Strict NO FIRE policy will be enforced. Our fireworks show is canceled due to the fire danger.

Prizes: Trophy for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Add fun courses for $5 (pre-reg) or $10 (on-site)

Youth, Young Adult, Adult, Seniors:

Two 20 Target Courses with Double Scoring

Shoot time: 8:30am Saturday & Sunday

8:00am Mandatory Shooters Meeting at Cyclone Lodge

Prizes: Trophy + Jacket for 1st, Trophy for 2nd and 3rd

Add Fun Courses for $20 (pre-reg) or $25 (on-site)

Frequently Asked Questions

Are prices for the entire weekend?

Yes, the prices listed are for the entire weekend for all shoots. Lift tickets are daily.

Are lift tickets required?

Lift tickets are only required for 4 of the 10 fun shoots and lift passes are daily. Lift tickets will not be required for any competitive shoots.

Will camping be available?

Yes, camping will be available at the Sunrise Campground as well as at Hawley Lake, Big Bear Lake & Little Bear Lake with a permit from either the Sunrise General Store or Hon-Dah. Due to the extreme fire danger there is a strict NO CAMPFIRES and no smoking policy. The Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest is currently closed and no camping is permitted on National Forest land. Local lodging will also be available in surrounding communities. Visit our Lodging page for more information about local lodging options.

Is the fireworks show still scheduled?

No, due to the extreme fire danger the fireworks display for July 4th has been canceled.
